Diversity and Inclusiveness
All nonprofit agencies awarded Lifeline Initiative grants will be asked to acknowledge inclusiveness policies and/or practices by signing an Inclusiveness Statement and to maintain diversity and inclusiveness policies and practices that align with the statement. The Inclusiveness Statement applies to how an organization serves its specific target population as well as how it handles hiring and volunteer participation. Nonprofit organizations that serve a specifically defined population or charitable designation of people are not considered non-inclusive or discriminatory.
