Welcome to eGRANT, the Kalamazoo Community Foundation's online scholarship application system.
 
This application is for scholarships offered to Kalamazoo area students* by the Kalamazoo Community Foundation. All Kalamazoo Community Foundation scholarships may be used for tuition and fees, room and board, books, transportation and personal expenses associated with the cost of education.

How to Apply

Step 1:  
Visit the Scholarships page to read the eligibility criteria for scholarships offered by the Kalamazoo Community Foundation.

Step 2:
Determine the scholarships for which you are eligible and want to apply.

Step 3:
Create your eGRANT user account.

Step 4:
Complete your application. Your application does not need to be completed all at once. Using your login and password, you may return to this site and work on your application when it fits into your schedule.

Step 5: 
Print and review your application before submitting it online to ensure that all the information is correct and complete.

Step 6:
Fill out any paper forms and write any essays that must be submitted to complete your application (e.g. Financial Information Summary, Scholarship Recommendation Form, etc.). Click here to access the forms. See individual scholarship eligibility requirements for information about what needs to be submitted.

Step 7: Submit your application, additional forms and essays (if required). Click on the link below for helpful information about completing the application requirements. Unless stated otherwise, the application deadline for Kalamazoo Community Foundation scholarships is March 31.

Step 8: Submit your application in two ways:

•  First submit it electronically in eGRANT.
•  Second, print and sign a copy of the application and Scholarship Cover Page for each scholarship 
   for which you are applying. Highlight the name of the scholarship on the Cover Page and
   combine this page with an application form and the attachments that are required for each  
   scholarship. Mail or hand deliver copies  to the Kalamazoo Community Foundation at 151 S. Rose
   St., Ste. 332, Kalamazoo, MI 49007-4775 within five business days of the stated deadline. Your
   application will not be considered complete until a printed copy and all required forms are received by
   the Community Foundation.
