ChangeMakers

At various times throughout the year, the Kalamazoo Community Foundation welcomes community residents to ChangeMakers workshops, which bring together residents to teach them how to use their talents and interests, make the most of existing community resources, and engage new and diverse people for the benefit of the entire community. ChangeMakers workshops are action-oriented programs designed to provide participants with creative tools and inexpensive, enjoyable strategies to help them:

•  Build bridges between diverse community groups;
•  Generate the momentum and credibility necessary for tackling
    larger challenges;
•  Inspire people to move beyond talking to engage in mutually
    beneficial projects; and
•  Energize and motivate people to get involved and stay involved.
