Becoming a Donor
The Kalamazoo Community Foundation is dedicated to preserving what we've come to appreciate most about our community. Working with the Community Foundation to accomplish your charitable goals does not require great wealth and it isn't complicated. Whether you prefer to give to a fund already established at the Kalamazoo Community Foundation or to establish a fund of your own, we can help.
Give to an Existing Fund
Consider a gift to one or more of the Community Foundation's Spirit of Community Funds. By making a gift to a Spirit of Community Fund, you can help us address critical community priorities. In addition, your gift to a Spirit of Community Fund may be eligible for the Michigan Community Foundation Tax Credit.
The Community Foundation also accepts gifts to the nearly 800 funds established by Kalamazoo area residents like you. Click here for our complete list of funds.
To make a gift, hand deliver or mail a check to the Kalamazoo Community Foundation. Please make your check payable to Kalamazoo Community Foundation with the name of the fund to which you would like to contribute written in the check's memo line. You also can make a secure online contribution using your Visa or MasterCard. Click here to Give Online.
Establish a Fund
The Kalamazoo Community Foundation can help you develop a simple, powerful and highly personal approach to giving. By working with us, you can:
