There are two fee assessments on funds at the Kalamazoo Community Foundation.
First, an annual investment fee is charged by each investment manager. This fee covers the costs incurred to provide management and investment services.
Second, an administrative fee is charged by the Kalamazoo Community Foundation to help cover operating costs. The administrative fee is taken during January each year based on the market value of the fund on June 30 of the previous year. The operational fee divides the cost of administration in a unique manner among funds housed at the Kalamazoo Community Foundation. The fee structure minimizes costs to donors and guarantees that the Kalamazoo Community Foundation can continue for future generations to provide the kinds of services our donors and the community have come to expect.
