  • Our conference rooms are for staff/board/committee meetings, not for classes, training sessions, or conducting the business of the organization.

Room Highlights:

  • Lawrence Community Room seats 26

  • William F. Little Room seats 10

  • Harold & Grace Upjohn Room seats 6

Located on the corner of East Michigan Avenue and Pitcher Street on the edge of the Edison neighborhood in downtown Kalamazoo, our building was originally constructed in 1870 to serve as the Kalamazoo Station of the Grand Rapids & Indiana Railroad. It was renovated in 2000 (winning a State of Michigan Historic Preservation Award) and again when it became the Community Foundation's home in 2014. It's also on the National Register of Historic Places.
When Arcus Foundation gifted us our building, we all agreed it should be a welcoming space that inspires collaboration. Since then, thousands of area residents have visited our building attending meetings of a variety of local organizations.
