Our Conference Rooms

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The health and safety of our staff and community partners are extremely important to us. At this time, we are not receiving space use requests in response to public health precautions regarding COVID-19. We are monitoring public health information closely and will re-open our spaces when it is deemed appropriate. Thank you for your patience and understanding. For further inquiry regarding space use, please contact Tim Smolenski at tsmolenski@kalfound.org.

Located on the corner of East Michigan Avenue and Pitcher Street on the edge of the Edison neighborhood in downtown Kalamazoo, our building was originally constructed in 1870 to serve as the Kalamazoo Station of the Grand Rapids and Indiana Railroad. It was renovated in 2000 (winning a State of Michigan Historic Preservation Award) and again when it became the Community Foundation's home in 2014. It's also on the National Register of Historic Places.

When Arcus Foundation gifted us our building, we all agreed it should be a welcoming space that inspires collaboration. Since then, thousands of area residents have visited our building attending meetings of a variety of local organizations.
