Board of Trustees Expansion

Kalamazoo Community Foundation is currently seeking to expand its Board of Trustees to include two new seats. Our first open board application is driven by KZCF’s new mission to mobilize people, resources and expertise to advance racial, social and economic justice. • Strategy and Systems Analysis — critical thinking, risk assessments, and reflection with an anti-racism lens and focus on justice.
  • Strength of Character — integrity, courage, commitment to values
  • Team Commitment — accountable, direct, committed to the collective leadership of the board and KZCF
  • Influence — used to inspire positive community change
  • Contribute Knowledge — share unique perspective, learn, and grow, apply.
  • Tolerate Risk — assess and take bold positions, innovate, appreciate past and look forward.
  • Be Visionary — establish and support the vision, mission, values, and strategic priorities
  • Support the leadership — honor the roles of governance, support and hold the CEO accountable for management.
