How to apply for the
Clarence L. Remynse Scholarship

Applying for the Clarence L. Remynse Scholarship is easy. Just follow these simple steps.

All Kalamazoo Community Foundation scholarships may be used for tuition and fees, room and board, books, transportation and personal expenses associated with the cost of education.

Step 1

Carefully read eligibility criteria and application requirements. The application deadline for the Clarence L. Remynse Scholarship is December 1.    

Step 2

After clicking on the Apply Now button at the bottom of this page, set up your user account by creating a login ID and password.

Step 3

After you create your login ID and password, click Opportunities on the left side of the screen and select the Remynse application. You don't have to finish your application all at once. Be sure to click Save before exiting. To return to work on your application another time, enter your login ID and password, then click Draft and select the Remynse application.

In addition to your online scholarship application, you also will need to upload the following:

  • One copy of your official high school transcript through the end of your junior year (including ACT/SAT scores).
  • Two Letters of Recommendation. Make sure your recommenders submit the recommendations by December 1.

Step 4

Print and review your completed online application before submitting it to make sure all the information you have provided is complete and accurate. Be sure your essay(s) appear in their entirety. Any information that does not appear on the printed page will not be seen by the scholarship committee.

Step 5

Submit your application by using the Submit button on the online application's Submit screen. Your online application must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. on December 1.
