Scholarship Search

There are literally thousands of scholarships available to students today. We want to help you find and take full advantage of all the opportunities available to you. This scholarship search tool focuses on the sources of aid available in Kalamazoo County, including scholarships offered by the Kalamazoo Community Foundation.

Many of the scholarships listed here are for high school seniors, but there also are several for students already enrolled in college and non-traditional students. The descriptions shown are a summary and may not provide complete eligibility requirements. All Kalamazoo Community Foundation scholarships (those denoted by ) may be used for tuition and fees, room and board, books, transportation and personal expenses associated with the cost of education.

Scholarship Information

Through generous contributions from various individuals, corporations and universities, SAE International is proud to award scholarship money to both undergraduate and graduate engineering students. SAE scholarships assist in developing the future engineering workforce by helping students achieve their dreams of becoming an engineer.

Funded through the SAE Foundation, these scholarships encourage academic excellence and help students around the world to pursue their passion for engineering.


Eligibility Criteria

Multiple scholarships available for students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering or a related major (math, chemistry, physics, biology, technologies, computer science, etc.). Refer to criteria for each individual scholarship.

Application Requirements

Applicant must submit all of the following:
A completed online application containing:
  • Official high school transcript
  • SAT/ACT scores
  • Letters of Recommendation (can also be mailed or emailed to scholarships@sae.org)
  • Completed FAFSA form (required for two scholarships)

We recommend doing multiple searches, entering one interest area each time, such as: Arts, athletics, business, education, golf, law, merit, non-traditional, restaurant, science, technology, vocational.
