Scholarship Information

David Reisterer was raised in the Kalamazoo area and moved to the village of Vicksburg in 1974 when he married his wife, Gail who was an employee of Vicksburg Community Schools. During the 40 years he lived in the area, he became an enthusiastic member of the Vicksburg community. An avid sportsman throughout his lifetime, David enjoyed playing baseball and softball as a young man, in addition to coaching several athletic teams. In later years, David could often be found on the golf course, although his favorite sport was always baseball and softball. Not surprising, he looked forward to following the Detroit Tigers each season. David was always grateful for the lessons and pleasure athletics provided him.
