I/we understand that it is prohibited for any donors to this fund, advisors for grant distribution suggestions or related parties to receive any personal benefit from this charitable distribution or receive any grants, loans, compensation or similar payment from this fund; the board of trustees of the Kalamazoo Community Foundation has final authority over the distribution of all funds held by the Community Foundation and that whenever possible the grant suggestion should be for $250 or more; all grant recipients must have a current 501(c)(3) tax status; no grants may be paid to an individual, or to an entity for the benefit of a specified individual; and suggestions received by 5 p.m. on the first day of the month are mailed by the middle of the month and that suggestions received by the 15th day of the month are mailed by the end of the month.
