About Our Board
The KZCF Board of Trustees represents and serves the public trust and is a critical link between the community and the Foundation.
The ability to achieve our mission and vision can best be pursued with a governing body that is fully inclusive. We seek a majority of trustees that represents identities of communities most directly impacted by racial, social, economic injustices.
The individuals selected will serve in a volunteer role for a 3-year term, starting January 2023, with the opportunity to be re-appointed up to five terms.
Ideal Candidates
The Board's ideal candidates would be knowledgeable in one or more of the following areas:
- Accounting & Finance
- Racial Equity & Justice Analysis
- Grassroots/Community Leadership
- Organizing/Movement Building
We've identified a gap in young adult representation and look forward to this opportunity to increase the number of adults age 25-40 on our board.
