Emily Olivares and Frances Vicioso were recently promoted to Co-Directors of the Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation Kalamazoo initiative hosted by the Kalamazoo Community Foundation. This transition takes place as TRHT Kalamazoo enters its 5th anniversary in Kalamazoo.

Emily Olivares and Frances Vicioso were recently promoted to Co-Directors of the Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation Kalamazoo initiative hosted by the Kalamazoo Community Foundation. This transition takes place as TRHT Kalamazoo enters its 5th anniversary in Kalamazoo.

Emily Olivares joined the TRHT team in 2019 as a coordinator. As Co-Director, Olivares will oversee internal-facing relationships pertaining to TRHT and its Leadership Team.

Frances Vicioso was hired as TRHT intern in 2020. She was promoted to coordinator and then manager in 2021. In her new role, Vicioso will direct external-facing relationships and partnerships of TRHT Kalamazoo.

New Hires at KZCF

In addition to the promotions, KZCF welcomed new members to the team:

Meredith Bradford joined the Scholarship team full-time as Scholarships manager. Tshepo Mathekga, Lily Salas and Allie VanHeest were hired as Community Investment officers at the end of 2021. Joe Galaviz came onboard as the new Human Resources administrative assistant and receptionist. Hollywood Watkins, also joined the team as Donor Relations coordinator.
