Alyssa Stewart

Alyssa Stewart is the chief community impact officer at the Kalamazoo Community Foundation. Alyssa leads our Community Impact team in establishing new ways for us to better support our funded partners through grantmaking. Prior to this role, Alyssa served as the chief impact officer for United Way of South Central Michigan and vice president of impact & engagement for United Way of Battle Creek and Kalamazoo.

Alyssa holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and public policy from Albion College and a master’s degree in public administration with a concentration in nonprofit leadership from Western Michigan University. She currently serves as the co-chair of the Cradle Kalamazoo Governance Board, member of the City of Kalamazoo’s Shared Prosperity Kalamazoo Organizing Committee and an advisory board member of the Josh Whitefield Memorial Athletic Fund.
